A Family-Owned Farm and Vineyard

The Mountain Mist Farms is a family-owned venue with over four generations of rich history. Long before it became a wedding venue, the place operated as a vineyard and winery in Pigeon Forge for years. Travelers going through Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge would visit the farm for wine tasting and quiet picnics. Visitors describe the place as a piece of heaven where you can take a break from the crazy traffic, relax, and unwind amid nature.

Today, the farm still operates as a vineyard, offering wine-tasting experiences and walk-through tours, while also doubling as a Smoky Mountain wedding venue. It has acres of Concord grapes, Raspberries, Blackberries, Muscadines, Gooseberries, and Elderberries. As of 2018, the farm added peach trees that visitors can pick and enjoy.

Outdoor Ceremonies With Smoky Mountain Views

On the outdoor ceremony deck, you can have an outdoor wedding overlooking the acres of vineyards and the Smoky Mountains. The greenery and mountain view make a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos, commemorating your special day. The Caney Creek runs through the farm, so you’ll hear the relaxing sounds of gushing water as you say yes to your loved one.

Rustic Barn Wedding Receptions

The rustic barn is the perfect location for hosting your reception and can accommodate up to 120 guests. It includes chairs, linens, and tables, and is usually filled with 10,000 twinkle lights that serve as a backdrop for your dream wedding.

The rustic barn comes with a chic bridal suite and a gentleman’s room where you and your wedding entourage can get ready for the main wedding ceremony.

Wedding Photos in the Vineyard

The tall vineyards at Mountain Mist Farms are perfect for taking stunning photos for your album. You can take first-look pictures to capture the moment you first set eyes on your partner in their spiffy new tuxedo or Cinderella gown. You can also take group photos with your bridesmaids or groomsmen while walking through the yard.

Micro Wedding Package

This package is an excellent choice for an intimate, low-key wedding. It accommodates up to 40 guests providing the intimacy of an elopement with the experience of a full-scale wedding. This package gives you 6-hour access to the venue, in-house decorations, chairs, tables, and linens. You also get an officiant, cake, catering, a bartender, and a DJ.

Intimate Elopement Package

Consider the elopement package if you want a quick wedding with a beautiful backdrop of fairy lights. You get 3-hour venue access to the outdoor deck, barn, and grounds and a choice of ceremony arbor for your 25 wedding guests.

All-Inclusive Wedding Package

The all-inclusive package is perfect if you don’t want to deal with the hustle and bustle of wedding planning. You get a wedding coordinator who handles the setup and cleanup, so you can focus on saying “I do” to the love of your life. The beauty of this package is that you get private access to the entire venue from 10 am to 10 pm. You have enough time to get ready, take pictures, and enjoy your reception.

The Venue-Only Rental Package

This package includes two getting-ready suites, venue access from 10 am to 10 pm, the rustic barn, and a choice of three ceremony arbors. You can also access the décor inventory, tables, chairs, linens, and a venue manager to help with setup.
