“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” -maimonides
One of the best things that you can do as a photographer is invest in yourself. Without that investment, without that education, you will succeed will eventually plateau. I mean, we all had to learn somewhere, right? Whether our first camera was a disposable camera or our first editing software was Instagram, or our first “model” was our puppy dog, every one of us made a choice to start our photography journey and grow as artists. Yes, artists!
I remember the first time that I opened Lightroom, and I felt as though I was about to drive a spaceship. I remember the first time that I photographed someone that I didn’t actually know ! It was scary! What if I delete files? What if I make a fool of myself in front of strangers? What if I fail?
I want to pass on what I learned from 5 years of photographing families and couples to you.
