Destination Smoky Mountain Cabin Wedding Near Greenbrier
I am delighted to be able to take part in weddings for all the couples. It is perhaps one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer. Recently, I had the opportunity to get to know a couple that I will not soon forget. The cabin ceremony of Alecia and Teresa took place at the Gatlinburg Mansion, and it was one of those cabin weddings that I absolutely had to blog about.
The Rustic Beauty of Cabin Destination Weddings
Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville are the three most popular cabin wedding destinations. I enjoy visiting them all since each area provides many unique photo-ops. I get excited when I’m invited to participate in one of these cabin destination weddings. I’m not just happy for the couple! I feel privileged to be able to get to know them and their family and friends that support them on their journey.
Many destination wedding couples come to me because I am a permitted Smoky Mountain Photographer. What does this mean? I can photograph wedding photos inside the park boundaries. I mean, if you are going to be in the Smokies, then get photos in the Smokies! Right?
Greenbrier in the Smokies
Gatlinburg is one of the most spectacular places for photographs. Why? Because just down the road is Greenbrier; it is here that you will find rocky areas, wooden bridges, and forest locations. Each new mountain scene creates a magical backdrop for any mountain wedding couple. It also gives the couple the freedom to forget that they are attending a formal event! Their true love for each other and their personality can shine through all the formalities.
From getting ready for the wedding to the first look of bride and bride. I wanted to capture all the magic and emotion these two young ladies felt. With its spectacular views of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Gatlinburg Mansion was the perfect spot for the first look. From there, we moved to capture some of the more rustic views that Greenbrier is known for. We traveled along rocky riverbeds, dirt roads, and natural wonders, making for some incredibly fun and truly romantic photographs.
In the end, the ceremony took place standing on the covered deck of the Gatlinburg Mansion. The backdrop was a breathtaking view of the Smoky Mountains. This was followed up by toasts and dancing the day away!
Gatlinburg Mansion
We cannot speak highly enough about the Gatlinburg Mansion as a vacation spot or as a unique cabin wedding destination. 14 bedrooms can accommodate up to 44 guests — plenty of space for all your friends and family. How do you know that this is the perfect setting? You will find plenty of on-site amenities, such as a large kitchen. If you are on a budget, enjoy this perfect opportunity to make a meal with your family members. Or enjoy one of the many catering options in the area. There is also a game room to entertain the whole family.
Local amenities around Gatlinburg Mansion also make it great for keeping guests entertained. It is also situated near Pigeon Forge so that your guests can extend their vacation to include more. Not to mention how Gatlinburg offers several fun things to see and accommodations for your guests who may not want to stay at a rental cabin.
