The Trillium Venue
I am so PROUD to be one of the first wedding photographers to do a photoshoot at the magnificent Trillium Venue. This brand new wedding venue, opening in the fall of 2021, will be highly sought after by couples looking for mountainous luxury. The wide views of the Great Smoky Mountains provide a breathtaking backdrop to wedding ceremonies and receptions. Your guests will be oohing and ahhing before you even say your vows!
Want to get married at The Trillium Venue? This luxury wedding destination features indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces. The focus is on the views of the mountains, so be prepared to be in awe at your wedding ceremony! With spacious patio areas, some covered, and others open, you’ll have a choice of spaces. You could get married in the second-story ceremony space with a mountain backdrop. Then enjoy cocktails on the ground-level patio with open seating and a fireplace. When it’s time for the reception, seat your guests elegantly inside the Grand Reception Hall (see below). Your guests will never be far from large windows with terrific views of the Smokies. The venue also has a covered pavilion area suitable for an outdoor reception, a cocktail area, or a ceremony.
The Grand Reception Hall
The highlight of the inside of The Trillium is its Grand Reception Hall. This large, airy room features a vaulted raised ceiling. Wood beams add the perfect touch to blend elegance and mountain-style together. Great big windows help everyone feel like they are right there in the mountains. The door openings are also large, in the style of garage doors. Guests will feel like they are free to wander outside to the porch area and gaze into the smoky distance. This reception hall can be decorated with your style, whether you prefer a modern look, a rustic look, or a lush and elegant look. The hardwood floor is perfect for dancing. When the lights from the chandeliers shine down on your first dance, you’re going to think you fell into Smoky Mountain heaven!
The Mountain Location
The Trillium is located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. Specifically, it is built on top of Bluff Mountain. Its height and prime location offer some of the best views you’ll ever see. This isn’t just a peak through the treetops. This is an epic 180-degree view, meant to blow you away with its majestic beauty. In the distance, you can spot downtown Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The drive up to the venue is gorgeous, but the actual location is stunning, perfect for a mountain destination wedding. The venue also provides access to wooded trails for adventurous guests and interesting photo ops.
The Trillium Family
This new venue is actually a younger sister to another mountain wedding venue I love: The Magnolia. The owners of The Magnolia do such a great job making weddings memorable for everyone involved. Their new venue is sure to be as big of a success as The Magnolia. Being family-owned is important because weddings are all about family. Family values, like honesty and goodwill, are built right into the venue. The people who run the venue know how to make your day extra special. If you choose The Trillium for your wedding venue, you’ll feel like you are one of the family, too!
Because this is a brand new venue, the details of all the amenities, such as rental fees, parking, and sound systems, are still being fine-tuned. The best way to get all the information you need is to contact the owners directly through their online contact form. Let me reassure you though, that in my experience with The Magnolia Venue, everything is operated smoothly. You and your guests will feel well-cared-for the entire time.
What I Can Offer You at The Trillium
I am a professional wedding photographer with a lot of experience in mountain weddings. My studio is in Knoxville, Tennessee, but I love to travel to destination weddings. I capture your special day, making it a day you will remember for a lifetime. My photographs are designed to trigger your happy moments, from the first, nervous walk down the aisle to the moment the newlywed couple leaves the premises.
Want to know more about me? My About page is pretty telling. You’ll find out about me, my family, my 8 years as a wedding photographer, and my need for chai tea and chapstick.
My photography style is about capturing real moments, like a documentary. Instead of making guests pose, I will shoot the genuine moments that happen. I love to capture emotions. My photos may remind you of the hilarity of a funny toast at the reception, or the tenderness of the father-daughter embrace. Of course, there will be plenty of romance, too. I guarantee that your wedding photos will be treasures you’ll come back to over and over again.
