Adventure Engagement Photos in Cades Cove
Ahh, Cades Cove. The iconic Smoky Mountain location is truly in a league of its own. Cades Cove attracts tourists and locals year-round to explore its blooming wildflowers, mountain views, log houses, and many other restored eighteenth and nineteenth-century structures. Being a Smoky Mountain Licensed Photographer, Cades Cove is definitely a frequent place for adventure engagement photos. And this session was like no other.
I met Liz and Drew in Knoxville, and we had miles upon miles to talk about their engagement and marriage. I think we became besties with all our chit-chat. As soon as we made it to Cades Cove Loop, we immediately hit up some of my favorite spots. Multiple rivers and creeks cut through the rugged terrain of the Smokies. Lucky for us, Abrams Creek presents itself right at the start of the loop after showing off its beauty as Abrams Falls. Following our time on the water, we drove to the secluded side road that the Primitive Baptist Church provides before hitting up a highlight of the trip. Any adventure engagement session needs to include the grand views of The Great Smoky Mountains! Clingmans Dome is the peak mountain view and is visible in Cades Cove. It’s really a stunning view!
