To them, this area is home and they are proud to say that. Both of them grew up on the Seymour area and went to grade school together. They actually dated as teenagers, but life took them in a different direction. It wasn’t until 2012 when Corbin texted Katie that they got back together. As Katie put’s it, “the rest was history.”

Incorporating the love of the area and the mountains brought them to a quaint mountain wedding venue in the Smokies: The Lily Barn. The Lily Barn, situated in Townsend, Tennessee, is equipped with many amenities that any nature-lover would find appealing. In fact, Katie fell in love with the wedding venue after being on the property for a few seconds! The barn, the greenhouse, the ceremony site, and the reception pavilion we all perfect for her wedding day!

The Lily Barn Townsend

Located minutes from Cades Cove, The Lily Barn is a 100-acre farm at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. The venue is also equidistant to surrounding cities such as Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. A 130-year-old cantilever barn sits among perennial garden. The Lily Barn also has an evergreen maze, a beautiful pond, and native plants in bloom for most of the seasons.

The ceremonies at The Lily Barn are held at the gazebo. Surrounded by thousands of daylilies, this intimate location is a perfect wedding ceremony location. The reception pavilion, just a short walk away, overlooks a 3-acre perennial garden. Layered across the ceiling are thoughts of tiny twinkle lights that set the romance for a perfect Smoky Mountain wedding.
