Downtown Knoxville Wedding at Jackson Terminal
Casey + Jeremy’s naturally romantic wedding at Jackson Terminal in downtown Knoxville was a favorite wedding of mine. I know, I know, we are not supposed to play favorites, but I have known these two lovebirds for quite some time. So, seeing them kick up their feet and have a fabulous wedding made my heart happy. And Jackson Terminal was the perfect place to make their wedding vision come to life.
Due to Jackson Terminal’s natural, unique, and simple design, it was easy to transform the space into something that was warm and inviting. That was Casey’s vision; a wedding day that was friendly and romantic. Colors of taupe, navy, and gold filled the room with touches of light grey from bridesmaid dresses. Pink hues hinted the room from the beautiful floral decor from Lisa Foster Floral Design. There was no need to employ a ton of design elements into this downtown Knoxville venue, as the space pretty much speaks for itself.
The most important thing to both Jeremy and Casey was not to forget why they were doing this whole marriage thing. It was about them, but also about their family. As you will see, Casey has a son from a previous relationship, and Jeremy wrote his vows to say to this special young man. Jeremy got down on one knee, comforted his new son, and spoke beautiful promises to him. It was a lovely, intimate moment to an already fantastic wedding day.
