Summer Downtown Knoxville LGBT Engagement Session
A local downtown LGBT engagement session of my dreams. These two lovely ladies had me trouncing around East Knoxville hitting up some places that they love! First, there is a love for coffee. Second, a love for their church. Third, a love for some crafts brews!
If you haven’t been to the Knoxville area off of Broadway Street then you are missing out! It’s full of up and coming locations that make you want to put on comfy clothes and grab a donut or coffee. K Brew is one of those places where you just have to stop. I always get their chai tea latte, but I also love to marvel at the huge Knoxville sign painted all across the wall of their building. If you were to go anywhere in town that just screams Knoxville, then this is it! So, it was the perfect first stop for Jamie and Ashley’s engagement session.
Just down the street is a special place for this newly engaged couple. St. James’ Episcopal Church is a home-away-from-home for them. An inviting space and place filled with nothing but love for this couple. And can we talk about how beautiful the church courtyard is? Light streamed into the courtyard through the stone archways that just lit up Ashley and Jamie so perfectly.
Our final stop of the day was Elkmont Exchange. I won’t lie, I love the modern architecture of this building and I have been dying to get a couple out in front of it for a few photos. We totally should have popped in for a beer on tap! But either way, not a bad place to end the night!
