I am SO excited about this one-day-only event! It's my annual mini-photo session in the incredible Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and I'm excited! And guess what? I chose my favorite location -- Spence Cabin in Elkmont. AND during the PEAK FALL Color Season!!

But why is this location in the Smokies swoon-worthy?
Available Parking:
No parking woes here – Spence Cabin makes it easy for you and your crew to roll in and out hassle-free. Two parking spots and a handicap spot are available right outside of the cabin! With the rental, additional parking spots are available in the gravel parking area adjacent to the main parking lot. Due to the date and at peak color, the parking lot may be busy. Prepare to purchase a parking tag or get there early!
Convenient Bathrooms:
Stay fresh and worry-free with nearby clean bathrooms, ensuring everyone stays comfortable during your mini-session.
Handy Changing Areas:
Spence Cabin has designated changing areas, making outfit changes or touch-ups a breeze.
Photography Locations Galore:
It's not just a cabin; it's a whole photoshoot playground. From the rustic charm to the lush natural surroundings, you have a range of picture-perfect spots in one location.
In the 25-minute session, we can photograph Spence Cabin, the river, the trail, and the chimney stack! All are conveniently located nearby.

Get ready for a whirlwind of awesomeness! I'm thrilled to let you know that you'll have the chance to hit up all the hotspots—Spence Cabin, the serene river, the enchanting trail, and the iconic chimney stacks. Yep, you heard it right! You can spend as much (or as little) time as you want at each spot, but all are accessible within the 25-minute session time.

No Cell Service:
The location for these sessions in Elkmont has no cell service.
Non-Refundable and Non-Transferrable:
All mini-sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once booked, no refunds or transfers to a new date will be provided for any reason. In the unlikely event that the National Park closes, all sessions will be transferred to a credit to be used by the Client at an agreed-upon date and location of photography service with EMP.
Weather Conditions:
This mini-session day is a rain-or-shine event.
Parking Permit
The cabin rental is equipped with nine parking spots. However, if the spots are full, parking permits are required to park in the main parking lot.
Photographer Friends:
This epic one-day-only event will be in conjunction with another photographer company with their own clients. Don't worry! EMP will photograph the session you booked with me, but be prepared that other families will also be in Elkmont.

Want more than 25 minutes? Feel free to book back-to-back timeslots for even more adventure time in Elkmont! Some locations in Elkmont WILL require a double booking. See below for more location details.
Optional Locations
If you're feeling a little extra and want to spice up your mini-session, I've got some optional Elkmont locations that are worth the extra time. These spots are like the hidden gems within the gem – charming bridges, rustic cabins, and unique backdrops. To ensure you get all the goodness, these locations will require more than the allotted 25 minutes. But trust me, it's worth it. So, if you're down to level up your mini-session game and snag a double spot, let's make it happen! Extra time means extra memories, right?

This isn’t a requirement, but if you’re envisioning those special, candid moments—make sure their hair, makeup, and outfits are done so they can focus on YOU.
This also goes for those moments where people need to tie a tie, or fold a pocket square! Make sure to try those items on before the wedding day 😉
💡 Pro tip: Your HMUAs are amazing! Work with your hair and makeup team to create a schedule that ensures anyone helping you get dressed is ready before your photographer arrives. This keeps everything running smoothly and stress-free!
