I’ve been a Knoxville Wedding Photographer and a Knoxville Family Photographer for almost a decade. I have shot hundreds of weddings. In that time I’ve learned so much. I have evolved, changed, amended, and mentoried. I have attended workshops across the country and gained tips, tricks, and advice that I would love to pass on to you! Whether you’re just starting out and want to learn how to shoot in manual mode, or whether you are ready to take your hobby into a business, the following mentor sessions options are available to you.
With that being said, I understand that everyone is different. People have different skills, different backgrounds, and different methods of learning.

Going to a workshop is a fantastic idea for photographers for many reasons!
These events are like hands-on learning playgrounds where you can level up your skills in a guided setting. You get to hang out with pros who share their tricks, tips, and experience, which expands your creative game. Workshops often focus on specific photography areas, so whether you're a newbie looking for basics or a pro wanting to fine-tune your expertise, there's something for everyone. Plus, you meet other passionate folks in the field, opening doors for collaborations, friendships, and industry insights. Workshops are great for boosting your skills, sparking creativity, and making connections in the photography world!
But what if we added a new element to a workshop?
Picture a dynamic "working workshop" where photographers dive into SEO and Blogging. It's all about rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on. You're not just hearing theories but crafting blog content, tinkering with SEO strategies, and making it all happen then and there. The key is to keep the momentum going in the workshop itself so you're not loaded with tasks to do at home. It's all action and doing, no endless talks or theories—just practical, real-time learning that amps up your skills right away.
Does that sound great to you? If so, hit the button below to find out more!
SEO has always been an overwhelming concept to me. It didn't matter how many articles I read on the subject, I never really understood how to implement simple changes to increase my SEO. Erin spoke so clearly about how to make simple and impactful changes to make my website better. She helped me understand the terminology that has always been overwhelming to me. I now feel like I can conquer this once scary task!”
I respond to ALL inquiries. If you have not heard from me in 48 hours, please email me.

Food. It’s usually what I end up talking about at the end of every engagement season. Somehow we got talking about pickles (because they’re delicious), and what is the best cucumbers to use. Honestly, a delightful conversation.
Fast forward to the wedding day and Kellie and Reed had a little surprise for me. A small bag of Richmond Green Apple Cucumber seeds. Apparently, they will make some bomb pickles. And when I tell you that this is one of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received.
Thank you to Kellie + Reed on such an amazing engagement session, wedding day, and beyond.

Today, my wedding season reaaaally kicks off and the weather and the story could not be more perfect.
Days like this always remind me why weddings exist in the first place.
It’s not just the dress.
Not just the flowers.
Not just the timeline.
It’s the rare moment in life when everyone you love is in the same room.
Your parents.
Your friends.
The people who watched you grow up.
The people who walked with you through hard seasons.
The ones who know your stories.
They’re all there.
So hug them.
Laugh with them.
Pull them onto the dance floor.
Take the photo.
Stay in the moment.
Because weddings aren’t just about two people getting married. They’re about gathering the people who shaped your life and celebrating the fact that, for one day, you’re all together.
And days like this carry memories of people who should be here, too. Their presence lives quietly in the stories, the hugs, and the way everyone holds each other a little tighter.
Kellie and Reed, let’s celebrate you and your people today at @nicholsheir 🤍

Roses are red,
Vows were said,
And I was the one
Hiding behind the lens instead.
I watched your hands shake,
Your families tear up,
Your friends cheer too loud
With champagne in their cups.
I’ve stood in the aisles,
Tucked quietly away,
While you promised forever
On your wedding day.
I’ve seen nervous glances,
And deep, steady breaths,
That one final moment
Right before the “yes.”
Then the kiss finally came,
The cheers filled the air,
And just for a second,
Nothing else mattered there.
So here’s to the couples
Who trusted me near,
To witness your love
On the best day of the year.
Your first kiss as partners,
Your first step as two—
Thank you for letting
Me be there with you 🫶🏻
