Crescent Bend House Wedding in Knoxville

Crescent Bend House & Gardens is home with beautiful Italian gardens that cascade down to the Tennessee River. Once owned by Drury Armstrong, it is an enchanting venue that hosts plenty of celebrations and intimate weddings in Knoxville, Tennessee. It was the perfect venue for Dottie & Nathan’s intimate summer wedding.

How They Met

I guess you could say that it was love at first site. Nathan saw Dottie on the very first day of college but didn’t get a chance to say anything. Two and a half months later he was still trying to figure out who she was. He eventually discovered that they had a mutual friend and got her phone number.  Basically, they have together ever since. Fast forward through five years of dating, and here they are at Crescent Bend House getting hitched!

Their Wedding Details

Dottie and Nathan’s event was pure wedding elegance from start to finish; we love how they used a dreamy pink and dusty blue color palette to keep the overall feel soft and romantic. Their florist from Always in Bloom perfectly designed Dottie’s bouquet with white roses and peonies, with hints of blush pink roses. Her bouquet and her bridesmaid’s bouquet blended well with the dusty blue bridesmaid dresses from Azazie, as well with the simple reception decor created by venue coordinator Judy McMillan. Nathan’s dark suit was the perfect contrast to this featured color pallet, and he and his groomsmen looked smashing in the outfits from Dillards. We especially love that Dottie’s timeless wedding dress from Ever after bridal, which she topped with a flowing cathedral veil.
