Winter Downtown Wedding at The Foundry Knoxville

I fell in love with Jenny from the moment her contact form hit my inbox. And from that moment on, I knew that their Foundry wedding was going to be fun. The Foundry is a beautiful venue in the heart of downtown Knoxville, and it was the perfect spot for their winter wedding day.

Their Story

Jenny met Tyler while attending separate bachelor and bachelorette parties in Nashville, TN. She had no interest in doing anything that night except dancing with her girlfriends. But somehow, Tyler ended up with Jenny’s real phone number at the end of the night. They didn’t see each other again for 10 months! Instead, they began casually texting each other, discussing their favorite football teams and such but it soon turned into a good ole fashioned courtship! By the time they met up again, something strong was brewing.

Everything came to fruition when Jenny up and moved to Knoxville, a decision she has never once regretted. She said at the time, it was scary, but she has never doubted that it was all part of that great big plan life has to offer. These days, Tyler and Jenny enjoy sitting on their patio, long Sunday drives and good food. Basically, they’re 80-year-olds! HA!

The Foundry Wedding Knoxville

The ceremony room at The Foundry encompassed everything Jenny wanted in a ceremony. She was looking for a dimly-lit, intimate ceremony with enough candles to put even the even the most laid-back fire marshal on edge. And, that’s exactly what she got!

The ceremony was gorgeous and just as Jenny had imagined it. Tyler and Jenny looked so happy up there, laughing as they tied the knot. The reception really kicked into high gear as the reception rolled around. The good times just seem to flow around these two. Everyone was having a blast!

Jenny and Tyler’s entire wedding was just so amazing. I loved how playful everyone was during the outside shots in the road, despite how unbelievably cold it was! But like Jenny said, “Beauty is pain!” Sometimes, as a wedding photographer, you’ve just got to bite the bullet to get the shots you know your bride deserves.
