Utterly Dreamy Wedding Inspiration at The Cordelle Nashville

There is one thing that I have learned as a professional wedding photographer in Knoxville, is that education is King. I fully embrace any opportunity to learn and grow in this art form. And when I heard that The Cultivate Workshop was coming to Nashville, I jumped at the opportunity to attend. One of the best parts about attending workshop? Shooting at new wedding places with new people! The chance to work with Laura and Dylan in this utterly dreamy, stylized wedding photo shoot at The Cordelle Nashville was a highlight of the trip.

The Cultivate Workshop in Nashville, TN

The Cultivate Workshop is an awesome 3-day getaway for like-minded women from around the world to learn and be inspired together. There are so many powerful women in photography, and CULTIVATE is a place for us to… well… cultivate our creativity and growth as a community of professionals and business owners. In other words, it’s a lot of fun and a chance to meet some really great women in the photography world with common goals and interests. You never know what doors are out there or when they will open, but it doesn’t hurt to go out and seek those doors yourself every once in a while and you might as well meet some great people while you do it.

The Cordelle Wedding Venue

This photography session took place at The Cordelle, a restored Victorian venue in downtown’s historic Rutledge Hill. If you’ve never been to this Nashville wedding venue, it’s incredibly versatile. As a professional wedding photographer, I love how the natural light just fills the space. I also love how the textured walls act as a perfect backdrop. The Cordelle has a long and rustic history, and it’s easy to draw beauty and inspiration from these storied walls.

In these wedding portraits, the models did a fantastic job of connecting with a level of intimacy you wouldn’t expect from a workshop. It was a sight to behold, and I’m so glad I was there to be a part of it! Laura and Dylan brought a level of professionalism to the session that was unrivaled, and it was a true joy to have the chance to work with them.

I had a blast attending The Cultivate Workshop. I want to thank Laura and Dylan for being our wonderful models for the day.
