Meaningful Rustic Vintage Wedding at Swann Stables

I was lucky enough to be the professional wedding photographer for Justin and Amy as they tied the knot with a ceremony at Seven Islands Methodist Church and a reception at Swann Stables. This meaningful, rustic, vintage wedding at Swann Stables was such an honor to capture. I loved being a part of this sentimental, family wedding.

East Tennessee Wedding

Justin and Amy are avid hikers. They frequent The Great Smoky Mountains any time they can! In fact, after their wedding, they hiked the ENTIRE Appalachian Trail. What an accomplishment! This love for the outdoors was present throughout the details of their wedding day, from the evergreen tones in the bridesmaids’ dresses to the moss table runners at their Swann Stables reception!

In addition to tying in their love for the outdoors, this wedding was infused with personalized, sentimental details. Amy wore her mother’s wedding dress from 1979. I even got a picture of her with her parents’ wedding portrait! The gorgeous vintage lace was stunning, and she looked like she stepped out of the pages of a romantic novel. Another meaningful detail was Seven Islands Methodist Church. You see, it’s Justin’s family church, located in the community where his mother and her family grew up in.
