Rich Colors Abound This Fall Wedding in Tennessee

I photographed Mara and Josh’s wedding day, which unfolded like a scene straight out of a fairytale. It was held in October in the heart of Tennessee’s fall season. The venue was on fire with color. Bright red, orange, and yellow leaves everywhere—the best backdrop ever for a fall wedding in Tennessee.

The venue was The Barn at Faith Farms in Athens, Tennessee, just an hour from Knoxville. From the second I walked in, I could tell they’d planned everything around a fall vision. The clothes, the decorations, everything – it all came together perfectly to celebrate the beauty of fall.

The Barn at Faith Farms in Athens

The couple found a venue for their dream fall wedding at The Barn at Faith Farms in Athens, Tennessee, about an hour from Knoxville. The place had a beautiful view, and on that day, it gave a rustic vibe that matched their idea of a cozy celebration.

The barn itself is beautiful—all weathered wood on the outside that looked elegant in a laid-back way. Inside, exposed beams made it super cozy. The best part? The place was bursting with fall colors—the perfect backdrop for Mara and Josh’s unique style to show off.

Stylish Fall Wedding Palette

The fall theme at this wedding was seriously on point. Like a fall explosion, they went all out with these amazing colors everywhere you looked. It felt like a Tennessee autumn dream.

Groom Suit

Josh stole the show a bit with his outfit.  Forget the typical black or gray tux; he rocked a burnt orange suit.  It fit his personality and looked amazing with the fall vibe going on. It stood out, but in the best way possible, like a pop of awesome in the middle of a beautiful painting.

Bridesmaid Dresses

Josh wasn’t the only one rocking the fall theme. The bridesmaids matched his burnt orange suit with dresses in the same color but in a way that flattered everyone. The gowns and silhouettes added a thoughtful touch that showcased their personalities while achieving a cohesive look that perfectly complemented the fall theme.

Bouquets

The bouquets were like an explosion of fall foliage mirroring the vibrant colors that defined the day. They included a mix of sunflowers in various stages of bloom, peach roses, and pops of burgundy amaranth mixed within a lush greenery, creating breathtaking arrangements that paid homage to the couple’s chosen fall theme. The blooms’ vivid and rich hues perfectly captured the season’s spirit, infusing the big day with natural beauty and grace.

Every section of the wedding, including the decorations and invitations, kept the fall theme going strong. They had amazing displays with deep reds, burnt oranges, and tons of green everywhere. The tables had centerpieces overflowing with rustic wedding details, and the invitations had warm, inviting colors. Everything at this wedding screamed fall in the best way possible. It looked super stylish and captured that feeling of autumn magic.

Wedding Highlights of the Day

This wedding nailed the fall theme. They went all out with these amazing colors everywhere you looked – like an explosion of autumn. It felt exactly like a beautiful Tennessee fall day come to life.

Personalized Lay Flat Items

Mara and Josh went the extra mile to capture the spirit of the wedding with all the little extras. The custom-made photo albums, which you could spend hours flipping through, personalized guest books for everyone to leave messages, and super pretty invitations hinted at the couple’s love story. These lay-flat items made the celebration feel extra special and intimate.

Emotional Wedding Ceremony

This fall wedding ceremony in Tennessee was a deeply emotional and poignant affair. Mara and Josh said their vows in this beautiful setting among friends, and it was clear how much they loved each other. Their promises were heartfelt and sweet, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.  It was a super emotional ceremony that reminded everyone just how powerful love can be.

Fun Dance Floor

The party got rocking later that night at the reception. With the fall colors all around and a warm, happy vibe in the air, everyone hit the dance floor to celebrate Mara and Josh. They danced the night away to awesome music, and it looked like everyone was making memories that will last forever.

Neon Sign

The couple added a super cool touch to the wedding decor with a neon sign that said “The Sylars”.  It was like a modern, artsy twist on everything else, and it looked awesome.  This glowing sign stole the show and fit right in with the overall fun vibe of the day.
