Eye-Catching Fall Wedding at Pure Water Farm
They may be from the sunshine state, but Ashlyn and Cameron planned the perfect destination fall wedding right here at the foothills of the Smokies. What else can a bride and groom do when they are obsessed with the outdoors, nature, and the mountains? I will fight anyone who says that the Smokies doesn’t have the perfect fall wedding color palette. All the hues of oranges and reds can be seen for miles and miles in late October, and that is exactly what we had for this wedding.
Fall Wedding Details
Despite the misty rain that surrounded this October day, Ashlyn and Cameron were able to have that Smoky Mountain fall wedding of their dreams! The couple aimed to create an intimate gathering place for friends and family. And to incorporate as much fall decor as possible. According to their coordinator Megan from Margaret Claires, the couple wanted their reception to look like “fall threw up every way possible.”
But let’s not forget to add a little glitz to the fall wedding details. Sequined table clothes added a simple twist to this wedding, with traditional decor of pumpkins, apples, and leaves adorning each table. All the deep colors looked stunning against the rustic-mountain decor of Pure Water Farm. All the mixed colors and textures created a cozy, romantic vibe.
Meaningful Creations
The best part of this intimate wedding was the meaningful creations provided by the bride and groom. Curating sentimental details and creating unforgettable moments was at the front of this wedding. Cameron’s hand made the anchor cross at their ceremony site. Handmade cookies and dog-themed signature cocktails honored their pets who had to remain in Florida. And special-ordered candy apples, moonshine, and beers left their guests in awe. And, can we talk about their first dance! These two lovebirds re-created the iconic dance from Grease! A fun way to kick off their reception! It was a treat for all!
Pure Water Farm
Don’t let the rustic charm fool you. This venue is also built for the modern couple and accommodates up to 100 guests for plated or family-style seating with room still available. And in those cold seasons, the dance floor is heated! A sound and light system completes the barn as well. There is a handbuilt bar where guests can enjoy an adult beverage. One barn wall opens to allow a cool mountain view and the cool mountain air! The event barn includes hand-crafted details such as wood siding, authentic black iron fixtures, enormous hand-cut saw wood beams, and stunning archways.
