Decked-Out Woodland Wedding at The Quarry Venue
If you’ve been looking for a wedding like something out of a storybook, you need to look no further! Laura and Matt’s decked-out woodland wedding at The Quarry Venue will give you all the enchantment. It’s no surprise that this bride and groom would choose a wooded wedding theme, as they love to spend their time exploring the natural wonders of East Tennessee. In fact, Matt proposed to Laura on a short hike to Craggy Pinnacle located in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains. Their engagement photos with yours truly occurred in one of the best places in the world: The Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
Woodland Wedding Theme
Organic, earthy, and clean was the definite vibe for this wedding, and this was especially true for the flowers by Melissa Timm! Laura’s bouquet was a hand-tied cascade mixture of green and grey succulents, white garden roses, white ranunculus, eucalyptus, and other mixed greeneries. The bridesmaids carried a smaller rounded version of the bouquet, while the groomsmen wore white ranunculus and succulent boutonnieres.
A large wooden arbor decorated with rounded balls made from antique hydrangea centered the ceremony, while hanging glass vases filled with moss and succulents constructed the aisle. Styling this ceremony location with all these natural elements complemented the beauty of The Quarry’s surroundings. The logs, moss, and succulents certainly look like they belonged at this outdoor wedding ceremony.
And I haven’t even touched the reception decor yet! A sea of earthiness filled every inch of this wooded wedding. Wooden chargers cut by Laura’s father spotted the table. Copper cups and silverware added a bit of pop to the table. And geometric glass succulent terrariums added a bit of modern flair to the entire theme.
