The one great thing about living in Tennessee is the fact that we have mountains. We have the Smoky Mountains to the south, and we love to shoot in such an idyllic location. But, we have mountains to the North, which are the Cumberland Mountains. I ventured back to Cumberland Gap, Tennessee for these Cumberland Mountains engagement photos. Alexx + Brandon had met on the first day of school and college, and well, I guess you could say that the rest was history. They love the area where they live and knew it was the perfect place for the engagement photos.

Cumberland Mountains & Pinnacle Overlook

The Cumberland Mountains are a mountain range in the southeastern section of the Appalachian Mountains. They are located in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The Pinnacle Overlook Trail at Cumberland Gap National Historical Park near Middlesboro Kentucky is worth the trip. Reaching the iconic overlook follows an easy quarter-mile hike. Once at the top, visitors can see the historic, small town of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. There is also the view of the Tri-State Peak where Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia meet.
