Abingdon Virginia Engagement Photos
Jeri is originally from Abingdon, Virginia and it is the epitome of small-town America. The streets are paved in brick and lined with immaculate old homes. There is still a Chamber of Commerce Building on Main Street! I haven’t seen one of those commerce buildings since the last time that I went back to my hometown. I felt right at home for these Abingdon Virginia engagement photos.
All of our photos took place within just a few blocks of the Marsha Washington Inn. The Inn was built in 1832 as a private residence for General Francis Preston, his wife, and their nine children. Much of the architectural integrity of this historic landmark has been preserved, and it is such a stunning backdrop for engagement photos. I can certainly see why Jeri wanted to have her engagement photos on this property.
My time with Jeri + Dean ended with a bite to eat at a local Mexican joint, and then I was back on the road to Knoxville. I certainly enjoyed my time with this lovely couple, and I cannot wait for their wedding at The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek in just a few short weeks.
