2017 Year End Review | Erin Morrison Photography
Where do I even begin? How can I put into words an entire year of photography for Erin Morrison Photography? I had the pleasure of witnessing a 26-year relationship end in marriage and checked off one of my bucket-list shoots by shooting in an abandoned pool. I returned to The Barn at Chestnut Springs for multiple weddings, while also venturing to new venues such as Ramble Creek Vineyards and Events, The Quarry Knoxville, The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek, and Candoro Marble. On the list of “cool new things,” I added two waterfall shoots with Meredith + Chris and Stephanie + Dustin. Let’s not to mention that I am still a Smoky Mountain wedding photographer; venturing out to the Smokies will never, ever get old. I got to witness happiness, sadness, contentment, and love. I got to hold newborn babies while watching past babies grow into toddlers. I even had the pleasure of putting together two group shoots with a list of talented Knoxville photographers. And talk about talent? I taught alongside photographers and videographers at The Real Workshop, which is named one of the Top Conferences or Workshop to attend in 2018 by Junebug Weddings. Wow.
And all the while, I had my best photographer friend next to me. Clint James Photography is seriously one of the best peeps that I could ever have with me, and his talent, inspiration, education, and wittiness is next to none. To all the families and couples have allowed me into their lives this past year, I want to thank you. Your trust in me means all the world. And last, but certainly not least, I need to thank my husband. James, thank you for all of your love and support. I love you.
I look forward to what 2018 will bring, and I look forward to adventure, friendship, and family.
